You’ve got your tickets. You’ve squared away where you’re staying. You were even a boss babe and earned some Counter Cash incentives for some awesome perks! And now you’re looking in your closet and wondering, What to wear?!
Maybe you’ve asked your mentor or your mom. Maybe you have an idea of what to wear but you’re having a hard time visualizing what exactly it’s going to look like. Maybe you feel a little intimidated because the Beautycounter CEO, Gregg Renfrew, used to work for Tommy Hilfiger! OK, first of all, don’t feel intimidated because Gregg is wonderful, warm, compassionate, and awesome.

Well, fellow consultant, let me help you feel a little bit better about what to wear to Leadership Summit. I’ve done a little thinking, a lot of Pinteresting, and I’ve come up with 5 chic ideas to help you pack your suitcase for Dallas, Texas.
What to Wear Idea 1: Keep It Chic
First of all, let me say that even Emily Post says that white after Memorial Day is fine. So I think you should rock a pair of white skinnies paired with a blue gingham top. The brown accents are just a wonderful complement to the ensemble. Add in a navy blazer for professionalism and warmth (remember: even though you’re in Texas, you’ll still be in hotel rooms!), and you’re on your way to business fabulous!
And who doesn’t love the homage to Beautycounter’s staple branded colors of navy and white?
What to Wear Idea 2: Keep It Simple
I also love keeping things simple and repeatable (it makes packing so much easier!). Here, I’ve paired the same purse and white skinnies with a vibrant pink shirt and accented the look with gold sandals and pearl jewelry.
What to Wear Idea 3: Find Your Accent
I will admit that, sometimes, what to wear can get a little tricky! It’s no wonder that some business greats – Steve Jobs included! – wore the same things everyday. That’s great and all, but sometimes I get a little tired of the monotony… but I don’t want to be super punchy!
Enter this outfit.
I love its simple neutrals with black leggings (which are a definite clothing choice), cream blouse, camel blazer, and gold jewelry. Plus, you get the accent pop with the animal print flats, which are perfectly comfortable and perfectly posh when you walk between conference rooms and networking events!
What to Wear Idea 4: Go for Bold!
So maybe we have some ideas churning? You like a little of one, maybe a little of another? Why not go bold with a tomato red trouser? You can easily balance the bright pop of color with a chambray top, black cardigan, neutral flat, and grey pearl accents. I already have red pants in my closet so I think this one may be packed for myself!
What to Wear Idea 5: Keep It Simple 2.0
Alright, I spent a lot of time on pants covering what to wear. That’s my personal fancy, and I wanted to include a skirt option for those of us that can rock it (read: all of us). I personally love this combination: cream sweater, springy fabric for the skirt, and a gorgeous neutral heel. I purposefully didn’t include any jewelry with this look because you can always repeat something I’ve already included… or maybe you just want to go sleek and simple.
I hope I’ve helped answer your what to wear?! questions for Beautycounter’s Leadership Summit! Do you have any other suggestions or ideas? Tell me below!
