[social_warfare]Admittedly, the last time I hopped on here, it was super heavy. I mean super heavy. And that’s not to say that some of that heaviness doesn’t linger, but I’ve fortunately found some other ways to manage it. Don’t worry – I’ll talk about a lot of it in due time! But right now, I want to focus on one of the things that is bringing me all sorts of joy and happiness: pumpkin spice.

Yes, you can call me basic when it comes to pumpkin spice goodness, but for whatever reason, it fills my heart with such happiness. It could hearken back to Thanksgiving and pumpkin pies. It could mean that cooler temperatures are finally on their way to Houston. It could be that pumpkin spice is just plain delicious.
Let’s go with the latter one a little bit more.
But to me, pumpkin spice goodness is about more than just a latte that you can pick up from Starbucks once the season launches. No, no! Pumpkin spice is a little more than that… and there’s a whole niche out there that proves it! Recipes, graphic tees, printables, the works! The love of pumpkin spice goodness comes from more than a cup of coffee: it’s a way of life.
And believe you me, I will be fully embracing that now the season is in full effect.
So if you’re like me and little pumpkin spice obsessed, I wanted to share some of my favorites to ring in the season (and hopefully will that pumpkin spice goodness brings those cooler temps with it!).
Pumpkin Spice Goodness: Coffee
OK, this one should come as no surprise. I mean, you can always pick up some Starbucks pumpkin spice latte on your way to work or add it to your cup at home. Believe me, I have done this many times! I don’t judge! But sometimes, I want something a little different and maybe a little more cost effective.
That last one is really important to me when we get to pumpkin spice goodness season.
Instead, I may opt for a flavored coffee at home that I can morph into a frothy butter coffee that’s like a latte. I still get all the robust and warm cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves flavors in my cup. Sitting here at my laptop and typing this up already warms me up!
Or I may make Danielle Walker’s pumpkin spice latte recipe. It’s super easy, dairy-free and faux-ingredient free. When I made it the first time, I had difficulty believing that pumpkin spice lattes could taste this good! It is definitely worth the time (which isn’t really that much!).
Pumpkin Spice Goodness: Food
I won’t bore you to death with pumpkin pie because – hi – that seems like the obvious choice. Fortunately, there are so many other options to choose from for pumpkin spice goodness!
First up are these delicious cupcakes. I first found these years ago, back when the site was actually Annie’s Eats rather than Everyday Annie. I love that it features a little bit of espresso powder to truly make it a pumpkin spice latte cupcake rather than just a plain old pumpkin cupcake (which would possibly be divine in its own right). The drizzle of caramel at the end is just perfection.
However, if you want to get your breakfast in first, this pumpkin spice oatmeal latte may be just the ticket! Hearty and delicious, this is perfect for warming your belly and soul when it starts to get colder. If you’re dairy-free, you could easily swap out the whole milk for almond, and if you’re gluten-free, you can opt for gluten-free oatmeal (I’ve liked this one in the past).
Rather than bore you with more recipes, I’d love for you to come to join me on Pinterest. I’ve created a Pumpkin Spice Everything board where I’m sharing all of the great pumpkin spice goodness finds of the season!
Pumpkin Spice Goodness: Graphic Tees
For me, it’s not enough to just blog about it, have a Pinterest board about it, make a cup of coffee in my home… no no, I have to share my love affair with the world. That love affair with pumpkin spice goodness is best shared in one of my favorite mediums: graphic tees.
Obviously, because I would be disowned by multiple people for getting a pumpkin spice anything tattoo. Scratch that. I would be disowned for getting an anything tattoo.
You can start simply with a cute, fall-themed raglan tee, demonstrating your love for pumpkin spice and everything nice. It’s a nice, conservative choice that is certainly appropriate, especially when it’s time to head over to the pumpkin patch for your festive gourd decor.
Or you can ramp up a bit with a football season appropriate themed graphic tee. I personally like this demonstration of pumpkin spice goodness quite a bit because ours is a Dallas Cowboys home purely for marital harmony, and if I’m completely honest, I would be Team Pumpkin Spice all the way.
Or to truly declare your devotion, you can go all in and share that it’s really in your DNA. Well, there are more devoted options than this one, but my mother occasionally reads my site so I’d like to leave a little something.
I’d like to believe there’s a little pumpkin spice goodness for everyone this season, and if I missed anything, please let me know in the comments!
